Lindenwood Ranked #4 - UF #7 in Latest Club Poll

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the Week 3/September 27 Men’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Polls for the 2018 season.

The polls are not representative of each program’s strength but serve as a basis for comparison during the 2018 season.

2018 MEN’S COLLEGIATE CLUB NATIONAL TOP 20 (WEEK 3/SEPTEMBER 27)

San Diego State University remains at No. 1 as the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2018 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 Week 3/September 27 rankings.

The Aztecs (96 points) retain top-billing by the narrowest of margins as California Polytechnic State University (95 points) falls one point shy of equaling San Diego State for the No. 1 position.  Lindenwood University (86 points) rises to No. 3, while the University of California (84 points) and the University of Texas (84 points) ascend and fall into a tie at No. 4.

The University of Southern California (78 points), the University of Florida (64 points), The Ohio State University (62 points), the University of California-Los Angeles (50 points) and Michigan State University (42 points) complete the Top 10 as the quintet hold down the No. 6-to-10 positions.

The University of California-Davis (41 points), the University of Colorado (38 points), the United States Military Academy (36 points), California State University-Maritime Academy (35 points) and Long Beach State University (33 points) stand at No. 11-to-15, respectively, while the University of Alabama (28 points), Boston College (27 points), Pennsylvania State University (23 points), Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (12 points) and the University of Notre Dame (8 points) complete the Top 20.

The 2018 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship will be decided at the University of Arizona on Friday-Sunday, November 9-11, in Tucson, Arizona.
