Six members of the Gannon University men’s water polo team garnered recognition as 2017-18 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athletes.
Kaden Conley (Fr., Fenton, Mo./Christian Brothers College), Jack Donnelly (So., Temecula, Calif./Chaparral), Brett Rehrer (Jr., Chino Hills, Calif./Chino Hills), Anthony Squeglia (Fr., Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep), Thomas Squeglia (So., Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep) and Nick Williams (Sr., Bainbridge Island, Wash./Bainbridge Island) were honored for their academic achievements as student-athletes must maintain a 3.25 cumulative grade point average or better to be named a scholar-athlete.
A school-record 252 Gannon student-athletes earned recognition as PSAC Scholar-Athletes as the institution produced the highest percentage of student-athletes named PSAC scholar-athletes among the league’s 18 schools for the seventh time in 10 years.
Gannon led all PSAC institutions at 56 percent, producing 252 scholar-athletes among its 453 student-athletes during the 2017-18 academic year.
