Sunday saw the culmination of the UANA Junior Pan American Championships in water polo. The competition was held at the Clearwater Long Center from July 10-15. Men’s teams from USA, Canada, Brazil, Barbados, Argentina, Peru, Jamaica and Puerto Rico, as well as women’s teams from USA, Canada, Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, Peru, Jamaica and Puerto Rico gathered in Clearwater for competition. The Brazil men’s team defeated the USA for the gold medal and the women’s gold medal went to Canada after defeating Brazil.
