ANDREW TOO-A-FOO NAMED SALEM UNIVERSITY MEN’S WATER POLO GRADUATE ASSISTANT COACH




SALEM, W.Va, — The Salem University Tigers men’s water polo team announce the addition of former Mercyhurst University goalie Andrew Too-A-Foo as the program’s graduate assistant coach.
Too-A-Foo brings both domestic and international experience to head coach Rob Bullion’s staff following a four-year career with the Lakers.  A 2017 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC)-West Region All-Conference Second Team selection, Too-A-Foo competed for the Trinidad and Tobago National Team in the Junior Pan-Am Games in 2012.
“I think his background in college and international play will go a long way with helping our program,” said Bullion.
Too-A-Foo’s international competitions include a fifth-place finish in the Central American and Caribbean Games, gold in the 2009 under 16 Carifta game, where he also competed in the under 17 age group (2011) and under 18 age group (2012); winning goalie of the tournament in each competition.
He was also a gold medalist in the Caribbean Island Swimming Championships in 2010.
A 2016 and 2017 MAWPC-West Region All-Conference Second Team pick who concluded his career with 611 saves, Too-A-Foo garnered MAWPC-West Region All-Tournament First Team nods in 2016 and 2017 along with garnering Most Valuable Player accolades at the inaugural MAWPC-West Region Championship in 2016.  In addition, he earned a pair of Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division II Eastern Championship First Team All-Tournament nods (2015, 2016).
